What is borosilicate glass?

Borosilicate glass is a glass with silica and boron trioxide as the main glass-forming components. It is often used in high-quality double-layer glasses and is lighter and more resistant to thermal shock than other ordinary glasses.

Why is there a small dot at the bottom of the cup?

It is not a defect that the bottom of the cup is reserved for air holes during the blowing process. Small holes are used to vent the air from the double glass during the making process.

Can I wash these cups in the dishwasher?

We recommend hand washing our glass coffee mugs after each use. Hand washing our glassware prevents it from oozing water, minimising the risk of shattering and extending its lifespan.

Can I put these cups in the microwave?

We don’t recommend reheating in the microwave. The hole at the bottom of the cup is closed with glue, which will be melted under high temperature for a long time, resulting in water seepage between the double walls of the glass.

How do I clean and maintain it?

1. Rinse the cup with warm water and neutral detergent

2. Drain upside down and wipe with a clean towel

3. After wiping, hang it upside down on the cup holder or stand in the wine cabinet
